Legacy offers Tension Fabric Buildings With Rigid Frame, Structural Steel

Combining superior quality rigid frame engineering with the proven benefits of tension fabric, Legacy Building Solutions introduces the industry's first line of fabric structures to incorporate structural steel beams instead of open web trusses. This new engineering design provides a high level of flexibility for a wide range of applications, including military facilities, aviation structures, commodity storage, riding arenas, recreational facilities, commercial and industrial warehousing, recycling and cattle and agriculture buildings.

Legacy buildings utilize a durable rigid frame in place of the hollow-tube, open web truss framing traditionally used for fabric structures. Unlike hollow tube steel, Legacy’s solid structural steel beams are not vulnerable to unseen corrosion originating inside a tube. Additionally, the structural steel has multiple coating options, including hot dip galvanizing, red oxide primer and powder coat paint.

The strength of the structural steel frame provides several engineering advantages, most notably the flexibility to customize buildings beyond the confines of standard sizes to the exact width, length and height required. The design allows for much wider doors than possible with web truss, and adding side doors is simple as well. Our fabric structures can be modified to provide desired eave extensions and interior columns. They can also be engineered to handle additional loads for conveyors, sprinklers and even commodity loads on the sidewalls.

Legacy buildings feature high-quality polyethylene fabric roofs that eliminate the corrosion concerns associated with metal-constructed facilities. A wide variety of PVC fabrics are also available. The durable fabric allows natural light to permeate the structure, while insulation can be added to meet energy codes when required.

Installation is faster than with conventional buildings, and the design can be adjusted for stationary or portable applications. Sidewalls can be customized and built with any desired material — including steel, paneling or siding — and then easily lined with fabric to prevent corrosion to the interior. Legacy steel components and fabric covers are backed by a 15-year warranty.

Legacy offers assistance from concept to completion, including renderings, foundation design, installation and project management. To date, Legacy’s in-house, professional installation crews have constructed over 25 million square feet of fabric buildings.

Legacy Building Solutions specializes in the innovative design, engineering and construction of fabric-covered buildings for several different industries and applications. For more information, contact us: 877-259-1528, or visit our www.legacybuildingsolutions.com.

Price vs. Value

Consumers often confuse price versus value.  Value is determined by the worth of the product.  Price is determined by supply and demand.  When making a significant investment, a wise consumer will choose a product based on a combination of value and price, not just price.  We are aware that there will be a company that will offer a low cost alternative, however when you take the time to analyze what you are getting for that cheaper price, you will often find it is not the best value.

Legacy Building Solutions is an industry leader in terms of overall value.  While we may not always be the lowest cost option for your fabric building needs, we will always be the best value.  We achieve this without abandoning our principles of best-in-class engineering.  Our focus is not on price; instead we will always work to provide our client with the ultimate value and tension fabric structure.  We encourage you to visit our past customers to view their building and talk with the end user to see what sets Legacy apart.  With our commitment to quality and providing the best value around, we are sure to supply you with all you demand in a fabric structure.

Here’s why you’ll love our fabric structures:

  •      Rigid steel frame
  •    Ability to expand, reduce and relocate
  •     Engineered for wind, snow and seismic loads
  •    Natural lighting
  •    Quick delivery and professional installation
  •    Tailored to customers specific needs
  •    Immense overhead clearance

Our Commitment to Service

At Legacy Building Solutions, our highest priority is to provide our customers with the best service in the tension fabric structure industry. We have the reputation and track record of delivering not only premium fabric buildings, but also superior customer service that is evident in the thousands of satisfied customers we have had the privilege of working with.

When the final beam is up and last panel pulled, it is the quality of the service provided that customers remember the most. It is this same quality of service that separates a good company from a great company. Everybody and every company make mistakes, but what separates an exceptional company from the rest, is how they resolve these mistakes. From our experience, customers want to work with a company that employs people who care and listen to their needs and take pride in the product they are supplying. Customers want to work with positive representatives that provide innovative solutions for their success. At Legacy, we believe we possess all of these qualities and will not rest until our customers are completely satisfied with their fabric structure.

The "Legendary" Building Series

Legacy Building Solutions is leading the industry with a pioneering new line of tension fabric structures.  With numerous uncertainties surrounding the open-web truss design that most competitors use, the team at Legacy went back to the drawing board to design a safer and more sound fabric building.  With the unquestioned strength and engineering behind the rigid steel frame (or commonly referred to as "I-Beam"), the team knew this would be a ground breaking and more structurally sound design.  By using structural steel and a state-of-the-art design program, Legacy has the ability to completely customize your fabric covered building to your exact requirements.  You are no longer confined to a typical sized fabric structure.  We want to build you the tensioned fabric structure you desire, not a standard building size our competitors can only offer.  We welcome a structure as unique as your needs.

Listed here are some of the benefits of a rigid steel frame versus an open web truss:

  • Structural steel will outlast and outperform the widely used "hoop style" building hollow tubes.
  • Structural steel will not rust from the inside out.  With structural steel, you can re-coat or blast and refinish, should the need arise.  With hollow tubes, there is virtually nothing you can do once it corrodes.
  • Structural steel provides the strength needed to allow a building to be a clearspan structure and accommodate conveyors, platforms and sprinkler loads, just the name a few.
  • Structure steel can be hot dip galvanized to provide a corrosive barrier, grey primed, red primed or powder coat painted in any color you wish.
